A Typical Night.....

Here we are....just another evening at the Schneiders! :)
Annalise has been watching her sister jump....she REALLY wants to be able to jump like Avery. She's been trying VERY hard! :)

And the running around the house.....

Never a dull moment.
I love our life.

Happy Feet

Annalise LOVES music. Quite possibly even more than Avery did (which was a lot!). She'll start dancing at anything. And she gets her little feet moving. Now all we have to do it say "happy feet" and she gets them going even faster!!! Here is a little show from the other morning....you can see why it's always hard for me to get to work on time! :)

Haircut

Well...it's actually the SECOND time Annalise has gotten her haircut.
The first time was technically only a "bang trim".

She did great....sat still and liked looking at herself in the mirror!!!
She's so different from her sister in MANY ways!!

Now we can see those beautiful BROWN eyes so much better!!! :)

HALLOWEEN, part 2

Last night was FINALLY the big night! :)

Avery's been counting down the days. (And hoping she'd feel good enough to go trick-or-treating!) She'd been sick most of the week with fevers, cough, etc. She was fever-free for 24 hours so she was free to go!!! Yippee!

Spider Girl was anxious to get going!!!

Not so much for the "Love Bug".....

Her favorite new expression is "TOP IT" (stop it!). It's actually quite hard not to laugh when she says it. We're REALLY trying not to encourage it....because she says it for EVERYTHING!!! Mostly when her big sister is around, though! :) Needless to say....she was ready for the costume to come off pretty quickly. We did get the coat back on her to go outside and trick-or-treat a couple of houses with Avery.So...after a trip down the cul de sac with Daddy, Avery and I went and did another loop of houses. Avery was VERY excited......"This is the best night of the whole year!" (Guess she didn't remember the 4th of July?!). She had to come back and dump her bucket 3 times! Oh my...we'll have candy until Easter again!!!!

I think Annalise actually had more fun opening the door for the trick-or-treaters.
As I was putting her to bed I told her, "Good night honey. Happy Halloween. Trick-or-Treat." And she replied......"Happy Treat."

It was a good Halloween! :)

HALLOWEEN

We've been celebrating Halloween for over a week now! :)
We started with a pumpkin carving party "Camper Reunion". All of the camping crew from our Winthrop trip got together for a good Halloween time! Thanks to Anne, Allan and Aidan for hosting!
Each kid got to pick out a pumpkin to carve, too. We let them go for it....and they produced some good looking pumpkins! :)
We still had our pumpkins to carve from the pumpkin patch so we did that, too! It was Annalise's first experience with pumpkin guts. She wasn't so sure at the beginning, but she dug right in after a minute or two! She also found that chewing on the chunks of pumpkin as we began carving was pretty tasty. Ewww.
She was watching her sister....who wasn't at ALL afraid to dig in! :)

Daddy, too.
