While in Spokane....

On our way back from Priest Lake we stopped for a little cousin time.

One of the things that Annalise associates summer with is the water parks in Spokane.
We honestly can't visit Spokane in the summer without taking a trip to the water park.
Mark indulged the girls.
And Annalise did the waterslide ALL BY HERSELF!!!!!!!!

Sheesh...she's getting so big!!

Happy Camper's Club--Priest Lake, Idaho, Part 4

We had so much fun on the pontoon with the grown-ups, we decided to rent one the next day and take Avery and Annalise to Upper Priest Lake.

It was sooooo much fun!!!!!
We spent the whole day on the boat.

On the way to Upper Priest (it's about 18 miles from our dock),
we did some tubing.

Avery went first.

Annalise wasn't quite ready.  She was a little nervous about trying it for the first time.
So Uncle Geoff went....

And Mark....

Then Annalise was ready!!!

HIT IT!!!
Well....cruise slowly.

She loved it!!!

The girls LOVED the boat!
They are convinced that a boat should be our next "toy" purchase!
We made it to the thoroughfare and they each got a chance to drive.

We found a spot to anchor and have some lunch.

We had some good fun on the pontoon!
It was time to head back....

It was the perfect way to spend our last day at Priest Lake!
What an awesome week we had!!!!!!

Happy Camper's Club--Priest Lake, Idaho, Part 3

We wanted to make our way to the northern part of the lake and check out our old stomping grounds, Elkins and Hills Resorts.
We also thought it might be a good time to go and do some huckleberry picking.
The weather didn't really cooperate with us.
It was actually a little chilly for berry picking.
So...we opted for a little adventure up to Elkins and a huckleberry milkshake instead!
It was still a little chilly when we got back to the cabin.
Gramps opted to take a nap, so the girls played a 'quiet' game of Jenga!

Then it was off to the other cabin to celebrate Payton's 13th birthday!!!

We played more games over there....

Had another amazing dinner....

And whooped it up with a dance party!

There were presents and dessert....

And some quality time by the fire....

The next day was our day to celebrate Anne's 50th!
We left the big kids in charge and the grown-ups went out on a pontoon boat for a couple of hours.

There was just enough time for a night cap at Cavanaugh's.

Happy Birthday to Anne!!
