STOMP and a SURPRISE!

MANY years ago we took our first trip to Las Vegas with Geoff and Robin.
We only saw one show while we were there....STOMP!
It was soooo cool!  We all loved it!
Needless to say, when we saw that we were going to be visiting Geoff and Robin for the weekend while STOMP was in Seattle, we all decided we needed the girls to experience the show, too!!

We went for lunch before the show at Din Tai Fung in Bellevue.
It's a fav of Geoff and Robin, so they wanted us to try it out.
YUM!!!
So, so GOOD!
(The dumplings are AMAZING!)

Then it was off to the show....

It didn't disappoint!
We all had a great time.

That wasn't the only awesome thing that happened over the weekend....
Geoff and Robin had a surprise for the girls.

Robin handed the girls each a gift bag.
Avery got a cute Hawaii t-shirt and Annalise an American Girl hula outfit from Geoff and Robin's last trip to Hawaii.  Also...a Hawaii luggage tag for each.

Then Robin pulled out some leis for everyone....

And gave the girls the amazing news.....
WE'RE GOING TO HAWAII IN JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep!  The six of us are going back to the big island!
EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!
We are ALL so incredibly excited!!!

We had a great weekend, thanks Robin, Geoff and Lilo!

We're Swamped!

Annalise and Avery have been so lucky to have Mrs. Bianco as their music teacher.
She's truly amazing.
She puts together these concerts that are fun for both the students performing,
and all of the parents watching!

Annalise's program this winter is "We're Swamped".
She was super excited to dress up and perform!

They did a great job!

And look at Annie's concentration....
she's working really hard to get this one right!!!

It was a super fun show for everyone!
Nice work Annalise (and all of the other 2nd and 3rd graders)!!!!!

Happy 2016!!!!

We were invited to a neighborhood New Year's Eve kid party.
Avery's friend Kelsey and her family were here visiting the old neighborhood,
so the girls and I decided to go for just a bit.
It was fun to catch up with old friends, and the kids had a blast celebrating
EAST COAST New Year's Eve!

Getting ready for the big countdown!

Sparkling cider for the kids!

Then it was back home to wait and ring in the new year WEST COAST style!

There was some good old fashioned pot banging and yelling at midnight!

And right after, Annalise popped out a tooth!!!
(Does the Tooth Fairy work on New Year's Eve?)

Well....CHEERS to an amazing 2016!!!!!
