We left Idaho and headed back to Spokane.
Time with the Schneiders!!! Yippee!!!
For Avery...that means Game Time with Grandma!!! She even learned how to play chess this time!
And....a time to run around like crazy people with their cousins Bella and Elsa!!!
These girls LOVE their cousins!
And even a little quiet time reading in the big box!
And a number of "concerts"! :)
It's been so fun watching these girls grow up together.
I can imagine what their time together will become as they grow into teenagers! :)
It was a great Spring Break with lots of good, quality family time! Wish Spokane weren't QUITE so far and we could do it more often. Sigh. Guess that's why we make the most of the times we do have together. Thank you Spokane Schneiders!!! :)

Spring Break!!!! (Part 1)
We headed east of the mountains for Spring Break this year.
It was going to be a TRI-STATE Spring Break!!! :)
Our first destination....Hope, Idaho.
The girls did AMAZINGLY well in the car the entire way there!!! A whopping 460 miles!!!
We were super excited to see Grams and Gramps...it'd been since Christmas! (Too long!)
We made it just in time for dinner!
It had been a LOOOONNNNNGGGGGGG time since I'd been at Pend Orielle Shores. It is so beautiful!
Right on the shores of Lake Pend Orielle.
We had a blast playing at the condo. The weather was sort of a mixed bag. Rain, snow, SUN!
(But mostly rain.) We had to take advantage of the sunny day while we had it!!!
Lori and Mallory came up for the day on Sunday. It was nice spending time together as a family.
We did some crafting and LOTS of swimming in the WARM indoor pool!
Remember those nasty smelling plastic balloons we used to make as kids? They still sell that stuff! Mallory brought some and showed the girls how it was done! :)
We spent a LOOOOOTTTTTTTT of time in the pool. Loved the pool.
There was an activities coordinator who planned great crafting and other fun events.
Avery made a BEAUTIFUL butterfly planter! She painted meticulously!!!!! (No surprise!)

We took a little drive over to Montana....making it to our 3rd state! :)
We had lots of time to hang out and relax. It was a much needed break.
And although it was a little colder than our last year's trip to Hawaii, Grams and Gramps kept the ALOHA alive with some new dresses from their trip in February!
Thanks for a memorable trip Grams and Gramps!!!!! We love it when we get to spend time together!!!!

Cama Beach State Park
Cama Beach State Park is on the southwest shore of Camano Island facing Saratoga Passage in north Puget Sound. Cama Beach was a 1930's Puget Sound fishing resort with waterfront cedar cabins that have all been refurbished and available to rent. It's amazing that you literally open your door and the seawall is RIGHT there!!!!
We've wanted to go for more than a year and we finally talked our friends into going! The Happy Campers ditched the trailers for cabins this time and had a great weekend!!
The weather held out for us. We were worried it would be a rainy March weekend, but we lucked out! We were able to do lots of playing on the beach and hanging out.
Annalise was the "PRINCESS" who got the royal treatment all weekend. She was the only kid allowed in Kim's new wagon (Lil' Buddy).
We did all of our cooking outside, too.
There was time for horseshoes and boat building, too!
Avery named her boat "DAFFODIL" and Annalise's was "CHARLIE". We tried them out in the bath when we got home. The look better than they sail! :)
On Saturday we headed back to Bellingham for Avery and Aidan's first soccer game.
Once she got in there she had a great time and did really well!!! :)
After the game it was back to the beach for an evening of playing and hanging out by the campfire singing songs!
In the morning it was time to pack up and wait for the shuttle to take us back to our cars.
One last shot of the group........it was a FUN weekend!!! We'll definitely go back to Cama Beach!!!
