Avery's 11th Birthday

Our Avery is almost in middle school.

She has grown into such a lovely young lady.

She's kind, helpful, smart, polite and beautiful.

It's so hard to believe she's 11!!

For her 11th birthday she just wanted to take a trip to the mall with a couple of her closest friends.

So....Isa and Jocelyn joined Avery for a trip to the mall.

They each got $20 to spend and I set them free while I ran some other mall errands.

I did manage to catch up with them a few times....

Then we headed over to Red Robin for a birthday dinner.

Yes...they are still little girls...

Who like to be silly and have fun...

I'm so glad Avery has such nice friends!

When we couldn't shop any more, we headed home for presents and dessert.

(Yes....ANOTHER dessert! :) )

A Cookies and Cream ice cream cake.

Avery felt well celebrated and enjoyed time with her friends.

On her "actual" birthday, Annalise helped me make her requested birthday meal...

chicken enchiladas, spanish rice and refried beans.

And the next day her gift arrived....

her own cell phone.

(Ugh....Mark had to talk me into this one....hope it goes well!)

She's MORE than excited!!!!
