4th of July

Happy Independence Day!!!
Geoff and Robin came up for a couple of nights to play!!! :)
We went out to Semiahmoo for the Friday night BBQ.  It was great seeing Bill hard at work and the live music was fun!  Avery especially loves any kind of live performance!  Good times with good friends and the weather was truly GORGEOUS!!!!  (Any locals out there....you really do have to hit the BBQ before the end of summer!!!!!) 

We started the 4th of July celebration off with the "pop-its"....

We also had a few fireworks....the girls thought they were pretty cool.

 And Annalise got to do her own sparkler, too!!! (Can you see the look of fear in Mark's eyes?)

Then we watched all of the excitement out the windows until it was WAY time to go to bed!!!  We had Avery convinced that every firework MUST be their "grand finale".  In fact, I think we heard that phrase at least 20 times before she finally gave in and went to sleep! :)  A good end to a good day!
